The Sky's the Limit (1943)

The Sky's the Limit is a really fun movie.
Fred Astaire plays Flying Tiger triple ace Lt. Fred Atwill on a ten day leave.

Fred sneaks off the train when he learns his whole leave is filled up with a moral-boosting tour.
Fred buys a cowboy suit, so people won't recognize him.
At a ritzy nightclub Fred notices newspaper photographer Joan Manion (Joan Leslie).
In a very funny scene Fred tries to get her attention by photo-bombing pictures of local celebrities she's trying to take.
Joan sings a lovely rendition of "My Shining Hour."
Fred walks her home and sings a fun rendition of "My Shining Hour."
The rest of the movie is Fred trying to convince Joan to like him. She thinks he's lazy. He hasn't told her he's a member of the Flying Tigers.
Fred and Joan do a great song and dance routine to "A Lot in Common with You."
Fred and Joan do a lovely ballroom-style dance to "My Shining Hour."
Fred Astaire does his best solo dance routine ever with the song and dance number "One for My Baby."

The Sky's the Limit is one of Astaire's more underrated films; but I really enjoyed it.
