My Favorite Brunette (1947)

 This movie is hilarious.

 Bob Hope plays Ronnie Jackson, a baby photographer, who wants to be a private detective.

 When Ronnie is mistaken for his neighbor detective Sam McCloud, Baroness Carlotta Montay (Dorothy Lamour) hires him to find her missing uncle, who is on a top secret mission.
 Ronnie doesn't know if he wants to work for her though, after her uncle's former partner Major Montague (Charles Dingle) tells him that Carlotta is insane.
 The rest of the movie is about Ronnie and Carlotta falling in love;
Ronnie trying to find evidence to capture the bad guys,
and the bad guys trying to get a map from Ronnie, that Carlotta gave him.
 Alan Ladd and Bing Crosby make a very fun cameo appearance.

 My Favorite Brunette is a very funny movie.
